DRESSED IN BLACK

Hello and Welcome,

Just a little outfit post from the other week, as it's getting a bit colder. I love this outfit (although it is mainly black oops!) as it's casual and pretty, but can still be dressed up. I also love wooly jumpers this autumn. Hope everyone's coping back at school, can't say I am!

VERY VINTAGE

Hello and Welcome,

How was everyone's weekend? I've had a really nice weekend away from school (monday tomorrow oh no). Last night my family and I went to a festival event called Goodwood Revival and it was amazing. It happens every year and everyone dresses up in vintage clothes, vintage bands play, there is a funfair and lots more! To get through the gate you need to buy a ticket, but we went to the funfair outside which is free! We went on the helter skelter and listened to some amazing 50s bands. It's just so much fun seeing everyone dressed up and the atmosphere is great! If you ever get a chance to go to the Revival, you definitely should!

BEACH EACH

Hello and Welcome,

It's finally Friday tomorrow after the first week back at school. It seems like all the teachers are giving me as much coursework as possible, all at the same time *sigh*. Lots of you will probably know the feeling, and I wish you luck haha!

Today's post is a throwback to the last day of the summer holidays. I went to the beach with the famalam to soak up the last of the sun. I wore a very simple outfit but I've loved pairing my checked shirt with everything recently!

BACK TO SCHOOL HAUL

Hello and Welcome,

Um, where did summer go? I went back to school on Friday and I can't believe I'm in year 11 now. It hasn't clicked how fast this year will go with exams approaching *eek*! But for now, lets think back to summer, and of all the things I bought!

Today's post is a collective haul of bits and bobs I purchased over the holidays (mainly near the end) for the back to school season. Most of this haul is clothes I picked up at a car boot fair for Autumn. I love shopping at car boot fairs or charity shops because it's so much cheaper and a lot of the stuff is still in great condition. Who cares if someone has worn it a few times before you? It's recycling :)

I'm very happy with my bargains from the car boot fair as they are in pretty good condition. As you can see I'm into the monochrome trend at the moment! I love this jacket just to throw over any boring outfit and make it more interesting. It will also keep me warm in Autumn/Winter. The top and jumper are staples as they can go with pretty much anything. The grey t-shirt dress was bought new in H&M but was only £3.99. I thought it was a great price for something i'd wanted for so long (see this post!)

SOAP&GLORY-CAR BOOT FAIR (although it hadn't been used before!)
PENCIL CASE and REVISION CARDS-WILKO

You've probably seen these shoes in previous posts as I have already worn them so much! Surprisingly my last pair of Primark shoes lasted a long time but started to break, so I got a new pair. I love these because they look like the black converse (I still want real converse!), but were only £6. The nail polish is a lovely colour and is in good condition for a car boot bargain. The soap&glory was also from the car boot but hadn't been used. I was tempted to but it in the shop so I was happy I found this! And of course the pencil case and revision cards are compulsory for year 11, so exciting i know ;)

So that's everything! I wish everyone good luck with school and don't worry, it goes quicker than you think!

P.S. What did you think of this more chatty post? I've done a lot of OOTD's recently so I wanted to mix it up a bit. Give me ideas for future posts below lovelies :)
